Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Want To Re-read

Posted November 4, 2014 by Michael @ Knowledge Lost in Top Ten Tuesday / 22 Comments

toptentuesdayIt’s Tuesday again which means time for another round of Top Ten Tuesday; I like joining in on this meme because I have a set topic to work with. Top Ten Tuesday is a book blogger meme that is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week the theme is: Books I Want To Re-read. It has been awhile since I’ve participated in this meme but recently I stated that I planned on doing more re-reading next year. So I thought this might be a good chance to pick some books to re-read.

  • Catch-22 by Joseph Heller
  • Notes from the Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky
  • Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind
  • Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
  • Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut

  • The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler
  • The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
  • The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov
  • The Outsider by Albert Camus
  • Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

  1. I have never read Rebecca but it’s at the top of my wishlist at the moment. I think I should probably re-read Catcher in the Rye too. I didn’t care for it the first time but perhaps I could appreciate it more a second time around. I also wasn’t really a fan of Slaughterhouse 5. Interesting list!

Slaughterhouse 5 is on of my favourites; but when I finished it I only give it 2 stars. But the more I thought about it the more I liked and now it is a 5 star book for me

  3. Mmmmh. This could basically be a list of Ten Books I Need to Read… because I’ve never read any of them. Oh, except for Catcher. I think Perfume is #1 on my list, it sounds very creepy and fascinating.

  5. Perfume and Rebecca are both incredible reads! I feel like I should do a re-read of The Big Sleep as well because I didn’t really care for the narrator/audio and think it’d be better in print. The rest on your list are all goals of mine to finally get around to in 2015. 🙂
