It’s Tuesday again which means time for another round of Top Ten Tuesday; I like joining in of this meme because I have a set topic to work with. Top Ten Tuesday is a book blogger meme that is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week the theme is: Top Ten Best Sequels Ever. I tend to read one book from a series and then never return to the others, but I will give you ten books from different book series that I think are great.
10. Freedom TM by Daniel Suarez
9. Dexter’s Final Cut by Jeff Lindsay
8. In the Midst of Death by Lawrence Block
7. The Spy Who Came in from the Cold by John le Carré
6. The Last Whisper in the Dark by Tom Piccirilli
5. L.A. Confidential by James Ellroy
4. The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafón
3. The Twelve by Justin Cronin
2. Talulla Rising by Glen Duncan
1. The Long Good-bye by Raymond Chandler
I read a John le Carre novel for the first time…last summer? I REALLY like his writing (at least judging by A Most Wanted Man, anyway)
I’m a fan of his, I like this type of spy novel.
I’ve been thinking about trying out the Dexter books, how different (or similar) are the books to the TV series?
Book one is very similar to season one but then they go down two different paths. I like the books because I like Dexter as a character but some of the books are only average.
Yay for Zafon, I love the whole Cemetery of Forgotten Books series. Got the first le Carré on my night stand so seeing this one here in the list sounds promising
le Carré can be difficult to follow but worth it.
I absolutely loved the Cemetery of Forgotten books series! Glad you have it on your list!
It’s a great series
