Need a Laugh?
Are you are book lover or book seller?
Then I recommend you get a hold of Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops by Jen Campbell.
Available in Hardback or as an eBook
From the hugely popular blog, a miscellany of hilarious and peculiar bookshop moments:
- “Do you have this children’s book I’ve heard about? It’s supposed to be very good. It’s called Lionel Richie and the Wardrobe.”
- “Do you stock Nigella Lawson under ‘Sex’ or ‘Cookery’?”
- “Is this book edible?”
- “Did Anne Frank ever write a sequel – I really enjoyed her first book?”
Plus many, many more.
Ooh I read some of these on her website, I thought they were hilarious. Going to have to get this I think!
I think it would be worth having on the shelf
This sounds so funny – I must read it
I agree Mish
Oh dear. Facepalmed so hard I almost knocked myself out! I do kind of want to read Lionel Richie and the Wardrobe, though.
I think that was one of my favourite questions from the book.
LOL – I do love the sound of the person asking for “Lionel Richie and the Wardrobe.”. What a great sounding book!
I’d read it
